Skin Dehydration Station



For most people, winter means a dry, cracked complexion. Skin dehydration is more common in the colder months because of low temperatures, harsh winds and the constant dry air of heating devices, all which suck the natural moisture from our skin. The result is most commonly itchy, sore, dry patches on your face and body. And while you might not be able to avoid skin dehydration completely, there are steps you can take to better the condition.

1. Hydrate From Within
It seems simple, but most people do not abide by the 8 glasses of water a day rule no matter how many times it is repeated. But drinking water is a great way to gradually restore moisture to your skin.

2. Exfoliate
The weekly use of a gentle exfoliator can do wonders for your skin, ridding it of dead skin cells and helping to uncover a more radiant complexion.

3. Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize
Choose a facial moisturizer that is right for your skin type and make sure to use it day and night. The best time to apply your moisturizer if after bathing, as the dermis is more able to absorb the product.
